Despite the fact that the inside report from Scouts, Inc. and the minds of many experts favor Washington, dp backs the Pack, a field-goal favorite at home, denying plausibly a distinct possibility of the Redskins as upset specialists.
Sunday's biggest showdown in Big D features two unbeaten teams, New England and Dallas, in what could very well be a Super Bowl sneak preview. Again, dp drives parallel to the Vegas oddsmakers, who have installed the Pats as a 6-point favorite.
Meanwhile, in this week's upset special in Tampa Bay, dp definitively predicts that the Tennessee Titans's three-pronged rushing attack of Chris Brown, LenDale White, and Vince Young will trample the favored Bucs.

Dear DP, it seems like Favre manages to break Dan Marino records even when he's not playing football. Shannon Sharpe's TE TD record snapped today. The Steelers, 4-1 with bye this week, aren't missing Cowher at all. And Boomer, though lovable, he was never very significant anyway.
I don't think I've ever seen a cast of commentators suffer so many black eyes week in and week out. You look around that table and it immediately becomes obvious: even the best makeup artist can't cover up a bruised ego.
Dick Butkus recently said this to congress, "Don't make proud men beg."
I completely agree, but I wonder:
Is it worse to see proud men beg, or cry?
PS. I don't want to sound harsh on Bill, Dan, Boomer, and Shannon. But I can't help feeling sorry for them. It's seems like the only thing they have left to brag about are haircare and weight-loss commercials? DP- Who do you think will be the first one to sign a Viagra deal and will they get a better deal than Rafael Palmiero?
